This kind of behaviour drives me absolutely insane. I suspect it is motivated either by laziness or (as is sadly possible) the insane amount of deliveries they are unreasonably expected to make, due to idiotic target-obsessed management overlords who don't know a damn thing about what is actually involved in making deliveries. Who suffers in the end? The customer. A superb rant.
