Finally, the new Star Wars spinoff series, the Mandalorian, features a “Krayt Dragon” which is essentially just a giant worm that lives in a cave in the desert of Tatooine. As you can see, Frank Herbert’s sand beast has had an influential role in inspiring the mythological creatures of the Star Wars canon.
