There’s a lot of shouting. Uncut Gems will feel like a primal scream therapy session. It’s unbearably tense with Sandler spending sixteen hours shouting at the camera. Many thought the film would be nominated for an Oscar or two. It wasn’t. Nobody in the right mind would ever vote for a Sandler movie.
