This reminds me of an occasion in my early twenties when I was cajoled into entering a "fantasy Formula One" betting thingy. I know nothing about motor racing, care nothing about motor racing, and know/care nothing about sport in general. Yet I somehow chose the drivers/cars/teams that won me first prize, much to the infuriation of those who actually knew what they were talking about. :)
