This was a genuinely unsettling film, I quite agree. But I might brave it again at some point. I loved the way it explored the idea that being overly obsessed and paranoid about sin and evil ironically lures you into that very thing. I have seen that time and time again in real life, and in my experience, those who preach vehemently against a particular thing are often involved in that very thing.
