I've had three novels traditionally published by small US indie publisher Dragon Soul Press, and have also self-published. I'm currently seeking an agent (again) for representation to get my latest novel in front of agents (I'm in the UK). However, I'm absolutely dreading the AI conversation, as that wasn't a thing last time I was published traditionally (in 2019). I want to take an uncompromising stance, but am concerned about the pressures that may be exerted. I don't know what things are like in the US versus the UK but I sincerely hope this opt-out option is available.
