Thom Yorke was taught by my father at Abingdon school (not music). Thom knew my sister very well (who was a Radiohead obsessive, supporting them from the very start of their formation as a band). I knew him less well, but still enough to say hello to. At any rate, I remember many of their early gigs at the Jericho Tavern. Supergrass played there too. :)
