Time for you to write a piece on why someone hasn't simply tipped concrete into the Sarlacc pit and paved it over. It's a health and safety hazard for local children in the area, surely? Or perhaps they're all a bunch of delinquents who chuck shopping trolleys, breeze blocks, and other rubbish into the maw of the creature. ("Digest this!")

On the other hand, perhaps Sarlaccs are an endangered species, in which case it ought to be left alone. But it should be fenced off for safety and only fed dead things or vegetables (from a safe height).
