Two thoughts on this:
1) As I think you already know, I don't do NaNoWriMo. My annual novel writing deep-dive is in January/February/March, when I write the first draft of whatever novel I planned in the latter months of the previous year (yes, I'm already working on outlines, character profiles, research, etc for the next one). However, for anyone who uses NaNoWriMo as a motivation, I wish the very best of luck (including you). :)
2) Re: "Christian fiction" - Whilst I understand what you mean by this, I confess I've never separated church and state in my own writing, purely because I think what I believe winds up being inherent in whatever stories I write in any case. But I'm very curious to see what you come up with here. :)
