Two thoughts on this from me:

1) To my mind, the only sensible response to this sorry mess is to say we don't know either way. We may feel like we do, but we cannot be sure. There is no way to prove it, and it certainly should not be decided by the kangaroo court of social media.

2) I'm a big believer in separating art from artist, and Woody Allen has an impressive body of work that will continue to delight long after this sordid business is forgotten about.
