Unapologetic Butlerian Jihadist here: "Thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind." It staggers me that people are foolishly blundering ahead with this didn't-stop-to-think-if-you-should nightmare for the sake of saving a few quid.
I will never talk to a computer, I will never (knowingly) read anything written by a computer, and in as much as it is practical, I will do all I can to slow the creep of AI into my personal life.
We aren't learning the lessons of science fiction. This is a slippery slope to "open the pod bay doors please HAL".
