Very well written piece. Glad to see someone deflating (if not bursting) this Snyder bubble. The cineaste in me is bothered by DC fan attempts to elevate him to Kubrickian status, when at best, I find his films deeply average (I can just about get on with 300, but I have huge issues with Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, etc).

I've not yet seen Snyder's version of Justice League, and will do so at some point (with an open mind). However, I seriously doubt anything in it will change my mind about the film, or Snyder's work in general. I was also highly amused by Mark Kermode's take on the Snyder cut (ie instead of being incoherently dull, it is now coherently dull). But again... I will at some point give it a watch with an open mind.
