Wallace and Gromit doesn't really count, to my mind. It didn't get a proper cinema release in the UK (perhaps the odd screening in London) and for Brits, this has always been a TV thing (with the exception of Curse of the Were-Rabbit which did get a proper cinema release). But obviously, I was thrilled by the return of Feathers McGraw (essential Christmas Day viewing in Fortress Dillon). :)
