We don't and never have. We always let them go out and play, build dens in the woods, go on walks, etc. Admittedly, living in rural southwest England has its advantages, but even so, I can't understand parents who are paranoid about letting their children play outside, and insist on tracking their every movement, but let them go online without supervision, etc, etc.
