We sometimes get snow at Christmas in the UK (much more common in Scotland), but due to where I've been living at any given point, I can only recall one white Christmas, and that was in 1981. Snow is particularly rare in the south-west in any case, but it does happen from time to time (notoriously in 2010) though it narrowly missed Christmas.
