Well, I think supply and demand should dictate such things. If readers want Roald Dahl, they should be able to get him in his original words.

For me personally, Dahl, Tolkien, Lewis, Rowling, Pullman, Pratchett, and various other fantasy authors deserve immortality. But since I am not immortal, who knows what will happen a hundred years from now, two hundred years from now, etc.
