Well, I'm a cineaste rather than a Marvel fan, and what they came up with plot wise made perfect sense to me, regardless of the source material. All the characters (including Zemo) had interesting motivations, and I thought the CGI was perfectly fine (a minor consideration, and very low down on my list of priorities).
