Well, in fairness, I've tried to lay out the positives concerning Hook here as well (mainly the London section, Peter's flashback, and John Williams's geniunely oustanding music score), but for me, it proved to be no E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (which I consider one of the greatest films ever made).
