Well, it’s brilliantly directed with great performances (I think the characters are interesting because they’re deeply flawed), an amazing car chase (one of the greatest), and some surprising moments of humour (the bit with the villain eating at a posh restaurant whilst Doyle observes from the cold outside with a slice of takeaway pizza, for instance). I like the stripped down, gritty aesthetic, and it feels dangerous. I could say a lot more but I’ll spare you.

As I said, I love Fiddler on the Roof too, for completely different reasons. And M is another gem. :)
