Whilst I have much sympathy with a lot of what you say here, especially the lack of booze, the ghastly presence of rolling TV news (banned outright in Fortress Dillon), and your despair at the insanity plaguing your homeland, I must urge you, as a Knight of the Dillon Empire, not to despair of ranting. Your voice is important and matters a lot more than you realise. There are probably people here who read what you say and learn from it, but don't comment. I for one will confess I changed my mind about at least one important issue having read your rants (I won't say which one, as I'm embarrassed I was so ill-informed on the matter).

There are also people here who love to hear what you say, because it proves they are not alone in despairing of this lunacy, and that is comforting. Also, and most emphatically, you should not stop ranting for the sake of your own sanity (as others have pointed out).

Besides, if you give up ranting, you'll force me to rant about it.
