With regard to the multiple marketplace thing, one thing I did when returning to self-publishing to release my latest novel Peaceful Quiet Lives (having had three novels traditionally published) was to get all previous titles out of Kindle Unlimited, and go to Smashwords to ensure title proliferation on other platforms. Kindle Unlimited wasn't really working for me, so this seemed a sensible move.
