With the rare exceptions that I think you've already read, I'm not one for "personal essays", generally speaking. However, I did write this once, which I think might also interest you. This was a guest post on a blog by someone who vehemently opposes "Christian education", in particular the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) system (not sure if you've ever come across it - a particularly ghastly American invention). Again, this is severely redacted in terms of what I was prepared to say or discuss online, but it will give you an idea of another part of my life that proved usefully oppressive (all great material to later explore in one's novels).
