Yes, cover version type live action remakes of Disney animated classics are artistically worthless and an utter waste of celluloid. If you're going to remake, say, The Little Mermaid, go back to the source material and make something entirely different; a bit like Guillermo Del Toro did with his take on Pinocchio.
