Yes, I share your non-linear narrative frustrations to a degree about this film, and certainly on a more general level with modern film and TV storytelling. I think unless you've got an exceptional reason for narrative jiggery-pokery (Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, for instance) or your name is Christopher Nolan, it's best to tell a story the usual way. I agree with you about Slumdog Millionaire and M by the way. I'm a big fan of both. :)
