Yes, I'm tempted to agree. I also get cynical when, say, Queen or The Beatles put out unreleased tracks (especially if "completed" by AI). I have to say, I'd be furious (from beyond the grave) if any of my surviving relatives published any of the novels and short stories I've deemed inadequate. I keep copies of these because I occasionally strip mine them for ideas and other bits and pieces that could be resurrected elsewhere, but I certainly not intend that these are ever made public. The same applies doubly for all the journals, files, and other material containing character profiles, outlines (of which there are many, with loads of alternative scenarios), etc, etc.
