Yes it does. That and the fact I find it rather saccharine and nauseating. The notorious “Love is never having to say you’re sorry” line is hilariously parodied in What’s Up Doc? when Barbara Streisand says the line to Ryan O’Neal, and he replies: “That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.”
