Yes, perhaps. Although I'd need to see it again with that criticism in mind to give a proper assessment. As a Jewish person myself (via my maternal grandmother, which means I could claim Israeli citizenship if I wanted) and as someone who has lost count of the number of times I've been to Israel - not to mention all my friends there - I'm unashamedly pro-Israel. Therefore, it's hard to be objective about this subject. Though I do try, very hard, and to be clear, that doesn't mean I endorse everything Israel does, especially Netanyahu, with whom I take great issue over many things, along with millions of other Israelis who'd love to see the back of him. I'm also pro-Palestinian in that I long for a peaceful two-state solution to this endless cycle of misery. That's not going to happen with Hamas running around, intimidating their people and brainwashing their children (if you want to see something really bone-chilling, check out the murderous anti-Jewish Palestinian media propaganda).
On a lighter note, despite my high opinion of Munich, whenever I see Michael Lonsdale in a film, lines from Moonraker pop into my head. This isn't really fair, as he's a good actor in Munich, in The Remains of the Day, In Of Gods and Men, and so forth. But if I see him, I just hear "Look after Mr Bond. See some harm comes to him."
