Yes to all of this. I'm thoroughly irked by the amount of dummy-spitting, I'm-leaving-Medium, flouncy melodramatics currently clogging up my feed, some of them by writers I normally admire and respect. Yes, Medium have had some problems. I was at the sharp end of them too (especially in December - a disastrous month on Medium for me). But I've been on here a while and seen problems like this before. They do sort themselves out. We just have to sit tight and (as you say) in the meantime earn money elsewhere.
