You could also enlist the voices in your head for this task. They clearly aren't pulling their weight. Perhaps they've unionised and are on strike. In which case, you need to bribe, blackmail, and otherwise corrupt their union leaders. In my case, the voices in my head live under a dictatorship, so wouldn't dare to step out of line (despite their occasional snark and disrespect).

I'm not sure I have a version of Morrissey in my head, but I do have a version of David Bowie, Charles Dickens, and a few other famous people. But they prefer to make their contributions to my writing anonymously.
