You could perhaps start a publication entitled "Age of Apathy" for pieces like this. Either way, this is a fine, Generation X-style paean to sloth and being a slacker. I must confess that for all my Generation X apathy credentials, I do get obsessively focused when work is something I want to do (eg novels, short stories, film reviews, or articles on Medium).
